A Ryerson University student and former resident of Scarborough, Daanish speaks about his involvement in the Scarborough community. He talks about his experiences in different parts of Canada and his time in the US and provides comparisons about the levels of diversity and acceptance in the different places. Daanish talks as well as the South Asian presence in Scarborough and the activities held by the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA). Towards the end, he discusses things such as better transportation, that could be changed in Scarborough to bring the community closer together.
